(OLD) BELEW CEMETERY
Location: From Lawrenceburg, go west on Hwy. # 64 to West Point Rd., turning left onto this road; travel until you reach Gandy Church, then turn left onto Long Branch Rd.; continue for 5 miles to the first ford of Long Branch. Just before you reach the ford, turn sharply to the left and go one mile down a long hill. Park the car in front of the barn and walk through the barn lot directly behind the barn for about a quarter of a mile. The cemetery is completely enclosed in a fence, and up until a few years ago, was very well kept. A tornado struck this spot uprooting many trees and some grave stones were buried and destroyed. There are a few unmarked graves, but most of them seem to be marked in some way.
