The article chronicles the Prince ancestors of the author in Tennessee and Alabama. There are charts of the children of Isaac A. and Sarah Deen/Dean Prince and of James Daniel and Delila Melissa A. Districts Formed In Lawrence County, Tennessee, In 1836, by Kathy Niedergeses

A transcription of the original documents laying off the County into 12 districts within which the Justices of the peace and Constables were to be elected, dated 7 January 1836. The description of the districts include many property lines of the land-owners. The original documents are housed at the Lawrence County Archives.

A Piece of the Smokies In Middle Tennessee, by Bruce D. Price

This article provides a listing of families who came from Cocke and Sevier Counties, Tennessee, and from Haywood County, North Carolina, to settle in the communities of Revilo, Shoaly Branch, and Lindsey Grove in Lawrence County, Tennessee, in the early 1900's. The area was known as "The Second Division of the Tennessee German Catholic Homestead Association". Census Records for these families for the years 1910, 1920 are provided as well as Deed and Marriage Records.

Mystery Families and Photographs

A photo of Chinubee School off the West Point Road needs identification of the exact location of the school, the date the school was built and the names of the students in the photo. A second photo is of the Singing School of the Blue Springs Presbyterian Church and School, c 1902-1904. Persons identified in the photo include Ms. Belle Sparkman; J.H. (Bud) Belew; Dan Comer; S. Eva (Evie) Brown; John Henry (Jep) Brown. The other 33 people are unidentified.

Family History Fair

The author outlines the projected launching of Genealogy Database.com by SierraHomes Generations and its division Heritage Quest which will, when completed, provide online all U.S. Census images from 1790-1920.
